Hybrid Module of EDFA and Raman Amplifier
Design Tools
The module incorporates both erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) and first-order Raman fiber amplifier pumps within its compact design. In comparison to traditional EDFA and Raman amplification systems, the use of this module drastically simplifies system complexity, reduces overall size, and enhances reliability. It is an ideal solution for ultra-long-haul, high-capacity, high-speed optical fiber communication networks, as well as for fiber optic distributed sensing applications.
