Longitudinal Pockels Cell (KD*P Crystal)

This LBTEK longitudinal Pockels cell uses a KD*P (deuterated potassium dihydrogen phosphate) crystal to deliver fast, high-extinction-ratio electro-optic switching for Q-switching, regenerative amplification, and cavity dumping in ultrafast laser systems. The longitudinal configuration applies the high-voltage drive field parallel to the optical beam, yielding clean polarization switching with low piezoelectric ringing.

Variants cover 532 nm (Nd:YAG SHG), 1064 nm (Nd:YAG fundamental), and 800/850/1064 nm broadband applications. The half-wave voltage (Vπ) is matched to standard high-voltage Pockels drivers (≤4 kV). AR-coated windows minimize insertion loss.
