1-inch half-wave QLCVR for 400-700 nm, Ø10 mm clear aperture, 2.85 ms rise time.
Overview
Nematic liquid crystal/ITO glass, anti-parallel liquid crystal cell, with mechanical housing and wiring. Uniform in-plane alignment via polyimide layer rubbing; tunable retardance from tens of nanometers to λ/2 via externally applied AC electric field (DC not allowed).
