2-inch half-wave QLCVR for 1100-1700 nm, Ø20 mm clear aperture, 19 ms rise time.
Overview
Nematic liquid crystal/ITO glass, anti-parallel liquid crystal cell, with mechanical housing and wiring. Uniform in-plane alignment via polyimide layer rubbing; tunable retardance from tens of nanometers to λ/2 via externally applied AC electric field (DC not allowed).
