The 800nm Chirped Mirror -40fs² (PC1332m-AR-100-25) is a broadband dispersive mirror (BBDM) engineered by Ultrafast Innovations for precision GDD compensation in Ti:Sapphire oscillators and amplifier systems. Delivering -40 fs² per bounce at 725nm center wavelength, this chirped mirror provides fine-tuned negative group delay dispersion (GDD) control across the extended 450–1000 nm spectral range, making it ideal for low-dispersion ultrafast laser applications including sub-10 fs pulse generation and few-cycle pulse compression.
The moderate -40 fs² GDD value offers exceptional control for applications requiring incremental dispersion compensation without over-correcting. At this GDD magnitude, compensating typical chirped pulse amplification (CPA) system dispersion of ~6000 fs² requires approximately 150 bounces, enabling fine adjustment in multi-pass compressor configurations. The ultra-broadband design supports octave-spanning spectra critical for carrier-envelope phase (CEP) stabilization and high-harmonic generation.

Construction & Performance
Manufactured on 100 mm diameter × 25 mm thick UVFS substrate with ion beam sputtering (IBS) deposited multilayer dielectric coating optimized for P-polarization at 5° angle of incidence (AOI). The coating delivers R>99% reflectance across the entire 450–1000 nm operational bandwidth. Large aperture accommodates beam diameters up to 80 mm, suitable for high-energy amplifier beamlines. LIDT rated at 0.2 J/cm² for femtosecond pulses.
Storage & Handling
Operate at 25 °C, 40–60% RH. Clean only with >99% optical-grade ethanol and lint-free lens tissue using single-pass drag method. Avoid abrasive cloths and water.
