The Acton LS-785 is a high-throughput lens-based spectrometer purpose-built for near-infrared Raman spectroscopy. Its proprietary 5-element f/2 refractive design delivers >4× the throughput of standard f/4 mirror-based spectrographs. Using all AR-coated lenses from Acton Optics (no mirrors), it achieves >99% optical throughput. A custom gold-coated 1200 g/mm grating with micrometer-controlled tuning covers 750-1100 nm excitations, perfectly matched to fiber optic probes and deep-depletion CCD detectors.
