Cascaded Gratings MLGS25-2202-532

Overview

The cascaded grating beamsplitter (Multilayer Grating Beamsplitter, MLGS) is built from three layers of 1-inch double-edged N-BK7 substrates coated with liquid crystal polymer (LCP) carrying grating and waveplate structures, making it a single-wavelength device. With the grating lines of the successive levels perpendicular to each other, model MLGS25-2202-532 produces two-dimensional 2×2 splitting under linearly polarized incidence; the output beams are circularly polarized with opposite handedness and the splitting angle is set by the grating period of each level. It operates at 532 nm with a beam divergence angle of 2 ° (full angle) over a clear aperture of Ø20 mm.
