The base plate adapter from LBTEK is designed to mount micro dovetail translation stages onto optical tables or breadboards. The adapter is first secured to the surface through its central M6 countersunk hole. By loosening the M3 screws and clamping plate, the micro dovetail stage can be nested into the central groove and firmly fixed by tightening the M3 screws. This nested mechanism enables quick installation and removal for convenient operation.
